Aberdeen, NC – Residents of Sandhills now have access to specialized oral surgery and implant services with the opening of VISTA Oral Surgery & Implants. The modern facility, located at 11220 U.S. 15-501, welcomed its first patients on October 22, expanding care options in Moore County.
Previously known as Spring Lake Oral Surgery, the practice operated in Spring Lake for over a decade before relocating and rebranding.
“VISTA Oral Surgery & Implants of Aberdeen features a highly skilled team and the latest dental technology in a state-of-the-art facility,” said Dr. J. Patrick Arnold. He emphasized the practice’s commitment to personalized, compassionate care.

Dr. Arnold brings extensive experience to the practice. A graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army, completing his Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Fort Gordon’s Dwight D.
Eisenhower Army Medical Center. He has also treated military personnel in Germany and served as a surgical mentor in San Antonio, Texas, before becoming the Residency Program Director for the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Fort Liberty.
Now retired from the Army, Dr. Arnold is eager to lead the VISTA team. “My family and I have lived in Moore County for the last eight years. We love this community and are excited to provide essential services here,” he said. “Thank you to everyone who has welcomed us. We look forward to being here for a long time.”
The Aberdeen location will also have a full staff, including a practice manager, three dental assistants, a treatment coordinator, and a nurse. Additionally, VISTA will offer VISTA Sleep Solutions, a specialty service focused on sleep and jaw joint disorders, led by Dr. Rebecca Fronheiser.
Equipped with advanced technology, including 3D digital X-rays and digital lab services, VISTA aims to provide the highest quality care. One notable treatment is the “All on X” procedure, a minimally invasive full-arch dental implant solution. IV sedation options are also available to enhance patient comfort during procedures.

VISTA Oral Surgery & Implants will operate Tuesday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
