KARACHI – Bahria University Dental College’s (BUDC) Department of Orthodontics recently held a successful case presentation session for final-year BDS students (Group B) as part of their end-of-rotation assessment.
Each student presented an individual case to a panel that included Dr. Arsalan Khalid, Assistant Professor and Head of Oral Medicine; Dr. Omair, Senior Registrar in Orthodontics; and Dr. Maliha Arshad, Registrar in Orthodontics.
The presentations addressed important elements such as patient history, clinical examination, diagnosis, problem identification, and treatment planning.
Students were assessed on their presentation skills and their understanding of orthodontic case diagnostics. Mahnoor Fatima was awarded Best Presentation, with Durrosham Ayesha and Tooba Eiman recognized as runners-up. The session aimed to improve students’ communication skills and their ability to apply their knowledge to clinical problem-solving.
Dr. Arsalan Khalid presented certificates to the students, marking the successful completion of the session.
