Christie & Co, a leading business property adviser, has successfully facilitated the sale of Dentist@29, a well-established dental practice in Northwich, Cheshire. Founded in 1968, Dentist@29 has built a strong reputation for offering top-notch preventative care, implants, and aesthetic treatments. The modern facility features two state-of-the-art surgeries and offers potential for expansion. Conveniently situated on Castle Street in the heart of Northwich’s town center, the practice is a prime location for continued success.
Dr. Peter Young, who has owned the practice for over 30 years, decided to sell the business as he approaches retirement.
Under his leadership, Dentist@29 transitioned from a 50/50 private-NHS practice to a fully private operation in 1994, with a focus on dental implant treatments.
The new owner, Dr. Marina George, is the founder of Ladywell Enterprises Limited and a first-time buyer. Dr. George’s journey began at the Government Dental College in Thiruvananthapuram, India, where she graduated in 1998. She worked in private practice and taught at the Amrita School of Dentistry before moving to the UK. After completing her ORE in 2008 and gaining registration with the General Dental Council, Dr. George practiced in the NHS and furthered her expertise with a Multi-System Implantology Certification in 2014. Most recently, she obtained a Master’s degree in Implantology from the University of Salford in July 2024. Dr. George plans to transform Dentist@29 into a private implant-focused practice, incorporating digital technology and expanding with two additional surgeries over the next three years.
Jonathan Watson, director of dental at Christie & Co, expressed enthusiasm about the successful transaction. “We are thrilled to have assisted both Dr. Young and Dr. George in this transition. The high demand for private dental practices is evident, and this sale highlights the growing interest in acquiring well-established, reputable practices in desirable locations. We look forward to seeing Dentist@29 thrive under its new ownership.”
Sarah Brough, a solicitor with Forbes Solicitors, also shared her satisfaction with the process. “Working with Dr. Young and the broader team has been a pleasure. We wish everyone involved the best for the future.”
