CLEVELAND (WJW) – A free two-day dental clinic is coming to Cleveland, offering a range of services including X-rays, cleanings, extractions, fillings, and more.
The large-scale dental and medical clinic is organized by the non-profit MedWish Medworks and will take place on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, at the Huntington Convention Center. Last year, the clinic provided an estimated $800,000 worth of free dental services to patients. This year, the event will also include various medical services and testing.
“The clinic is open to all individuals and families without requiring insurance or ID,” said Roger Hess, DDS, a board member of MedWish Medworks and the Dental Lead. “Each year, we work to grow this large-scale clinic, and we believe this one will be our biggest and most successful event yet.”
The dental services available include:
Free screenings
X-rays
Cleanings
Extractions
Fillings
Temporary partial dentures for adults
Screenings and sealants for children
Medical services offered will include:
- Podiatry services
- Dermatology services
- Hearing screenings and ear exams (Saturday only)
- Mammograms
- HIV testing
- FIT tests
- Vaccines
Doors will open at 7 a.m., and care will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot.
